Adélaïde Feriot (1985, Paris) builds her work beginning with notions of times and perception, and their corollaries: impact and behaviour, mechanism of vision, proxemics. Since 2010 she has been making tableaux vivants, real images in the process of being made. They expand time and lean on a protocol that records them and allows their reappearance. Wax, ceramics, mirrors and fabrics are all means that the artist uses to fix objects and images, searching for tactile and temporal phenomena. She is awarded a diploma by the ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres in Paris and by the ENSBA Lyon. In 2012 she participates the exhibition Libretto VI of the collective Irmavep Club to Artissima Lido in Turin. In 2013 she is invited by the FRAC Lorraine for the exhibition Les lignes du geste. IAC (FRAC, Villeurbanne) produces its first solo exibition Eternal youth, for Angle (Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux). She participates to the New festival of the Centre Pompidou and to the Biennal d’art contemporain of Lyon (IAC, FRAC, Villeurbanne). In 2016 she participates to the exhibition Oublier l’architecture in CIAP, island of Vassivière. In 2017 she works with the Gallery Samy Abraham in Paris and shows her work to Tabacalera in Madrid and CAFA in Pekin. In 2018 she participates to the exibition Sculpter, faire à l’atlier in FRAC Bretagne, and Invitation aux musées in CND Pantin, with Le magasin Grenoble.
