Emanuele Guidi (1978, Italy) is a writer, curator, and researcher based in Berlin and Turin.
He is a PhD candidate in Practice in Curating at the University of Reading and Zurich University of the Arts and lecturer at NABA – New Academy of Fine Arts, Milan.
He is the initiator and co-artistic director of Post-Colonia: Festival of Architectures and Imaginaries in Transition (2025, Marina di Massa, Tuscany). In 2024, with the support of the Italian Council, he edited Henry Martin, An Active Ear – Selected Writings, Conversations and Correspondences, published by Spector Books, Leipzig, in collaboration with the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (SKD) and the Archiv der Avantgarden (ADA), Dresden, where he has been a research fellow.
From 2013 to 2022, he was the artistic director of ar/ge kunst, Kunstverein of Bozen/Bolzano (Italy), where he curated solo exhibitions by, among others, Alessandra Ferrini, Adji Dieye, Mohamed Bourouissa, Ho Tzu Nyen, Jumana Manna, Slavs and Tatars, Otobong Nkanga, and Lorenzo Pezzani (forensic oceanography).
