Jennifer Warren

Jennifer Warren is a researcher based in London, currently a PhD student at Central Saint Martins. Her background is in Performance and Exhibition Studies and her work focuses on so-called “radical museology”, primarily evaluating and critiquing key trends in “activist” curatorial and institutional practices of the 2000s. Specifically, Jennifer’s work focuses on the public programming experiments of the Museo D’Art Contemporani Barcelona (MACBA) under the direction of Manuel Borja Villel. More broadly, she is interested in the theories and practices of institutional change in the field of art and its institutions, including unionism in the arts. Jennifer currently teaches at Central Saint Martins, London Southbank University and Goldsmiths College, London.
