Lila Lisenberg

Artist, Resident

Lila Lisenberg (Buenos Aires, 1971) studied a specialization in Cultural Management at the Universidad de San Martín, a postgraduate course in Combined Artistic Languages at the Universidad Nacional del Arte, and is a Graphic Design Technician. She worked as a graphic animation producer for television channels such as Disney Channel, Fox Sports, advertising production companies, and in 1998 she founded Café París, an outstanding cultural space in the Buenos Aires scene, where experimentation brings her work closer to interdisciplinary artistic practices. She participated in the Independent Studies Program of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona 2019/2020 (PEI/MACBA). In 2021 she was selected for the Itaú Visual Arts Award, with her work “Exploración íntima de lo invisible”, exhibited at the Museo de Artes de Buenos Aires Eduardo Sívori. She is a member of the feminist group Nosotras Proponemos, Asamblea Permanente de Mujeres Trabajadoras del Arte.
