Rosanna del Solar

Rosanna del Solar (Lima, 1979) is an independent curator and cultural producer based in Lima. Her research interests focus on modern processes of colonialism and decolonization and contemporaneity. She has collaborated on several curatorial projects, including Bulto, by artist Melanie Smith (Museo de Arte de Lima-MALI In situ, 2011), which in turn was included in the official selection of the Mexican Pavilion for the 54th Venice Biennale; Remesas: 13 Peruvian artists abroad (Fundación Telefónica, 2012); and, most recently, Peru: Country of Tomorrow, which was part of the official selection of the Peruvian Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale, together with Peruvian curator Rodrigo Quijano. In 2016, she was part of the Curatorial Program for Research Building Capitals, Finding Capital: Developing Projects across Prague, Warsaw, and Kiev.
