is an independent curator, educator and perennial collaborator based in London. He attended Curatorlab, an independent curatorial course at Konstfack University (2011), and is now completing a PhD program at Middlesex University with research focusing on public engagement and experimental pedagogy in self-initiated art institutions. He was the curator at the Isola Art Center in Milan between 2009-10, an independent art space that combines contemporary international-level practices with the needs and desires of a working-class neighborhood affected by gentrification processes. In recent years he has promoted public programs that seek to understand whether the combination of events centered on education – such as lectures, lectures, workshops – with elements driven by performance can favor innovative and participatory curatorial approaches. In 2017 he will start with the artist Ludovica Carbotta the Institute of Things to Come, a ten-month season of exhibitions and workshops at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin, focused on how artists imagine future scenarios.
