{"id":11778,"date":"2024-12-14T18:30:07","date_gmt":"2024-12-14T17:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/barproject.net\/?p=11778"},"modified":"2024-12-14T18:30:07","modified_gmt":"2024-12-14T17:30:07","slug":"cloud-catchers-a-project-by-ingrid-hora","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/barproject.net\/?p=11778","title":{"rendered":"Cloud Catchers, a project by Ingrid Hora"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are thrilled to announce that\u00a0<em>Cloud Catchers<\/em>, a project by artist\u00a0<strong>Ingrid Hora<\/strong>, has been awarded the prestigious\u00a0<strong>Italian Council grant<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>In October 2024, Ingrid began her research in Barcelona with curator\u00a0<strong>Emanuele Guidi<\/strong>, and the project will culminate in a solo exhibition at\u00a0<strong>HAUS<\/strong>\u00a0in late 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Blending art and science,\u00a0<em>Cloud Catchers<\/em>\u00a0addresses pressing issues of the\u00a0<strong>water crisis<\/strong>\u00a0and its associated inequalities. The project critically explores the development and implementation of Western water-collection technologies, investigating their potential and impact across diverse populations and regions around the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n<p><em>Cloud Catchers<\/em>\u00a0is promoted by\u00a0<strong>BAR project<\/strong>\u00a0in collaboration with\u00a0<strong>Hangar<\/strong>\u00a0(Barcelona) and\u00a0<strong>Eurac Research<\/strong>\u00a0(Bozen\/Bolzano), with cultural partnerships including the\u00a0<strong>Dar Bellarj Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0(Marrakech).
