Based on research into children’s games, playful impulses, and ways to reclaim that attitude in adulthood, Costelha highlights the act of playing as an essential gesture in our lives.

Through interviews and stories about childhood games and their social impact, the artist explores how these experiences resonate in adulthood. Inspired by the notion of playscape in central Barcelona, the exhibition transforms the gallery space into playful environments that invite visitors to rediscover play as a form of encounter, memory, and resistance.

The exhibition will remain open until October 9, 2025.

Letícia Costelha

Exhibition text

Opening of Of Childhood Games, a solo exhibition by Letícia Costelha September 23 – 7 pm HAUS – Space for Art and Contemporary Practice, Carrer Ciutat de Granada 34-36 (MLlacuna)…

[744,613

post-11864","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-744","category-public-program
["GET
