One evening-night shooting with a group of (guiris*) young Anglo-Saxon tourists, who along the night, served with alcohol, visit and make some “gestures” in prominent places if the city. Through those gestures, historical and political meanings of places reactivated, and they create at the same time an odd dialog between activism and irresponsible gesture, reflecting about how tourism affects and creates new symbologies in and over the city.
*The term guiri is street slang used to describe the what is considered to be the stereotypical tourist or foreigner from Northern Europe and the Anglo-Saxon sphere that is subject to ridicule.
