Helena Laguna Bastante is a multidisciplinary artist from Barcelona with a degree in Fine Arts. Her research and artistic practice focus on the boundaries and tensions between language and memory, interweaving the processes of creation and the understanding of different artistic disciplines as languages through which to generate discourses and essays. She pays attention to the poetics that emerge in the process. With a strong interest in writing, its limitations and the potential of the body and gesture as an archive, she explores new ways of preserving memory through different processes and materials.
