Henrique Lukas

Henrique Lukas is a researcher, artist, curator and editor with a degree in Image and Sound from UFSCAR. He has just completed the Independent Studies Programme at MACBA and was part of the Lab Raza Cósmica (CIPEI). He has been curator, artist, researcher and manager of Ateliê Aberto, a self-managed space created in 1997, and of Instituto Pedra. He has collaborated with Sesc, Bienal de São Paulo, Pivô, Funarte, Caixa Cultural, CPFL Cultura and Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil. His main projects include Entrañas, Centro LGBTI de Barcelona; De disturbios, lutos y fiestas, MACBA; Metadatos and Comestible, Premio Espacios Independientes (SP); La construcción del patrimonio, at Caixa Cultural (SP – RJ); Poemas a los hombres de nuestro tiempo, Premio Red Nacional de la Funarte; and the annual public programme Código Abierto.
