Martina Elorduy Masip

Participant

Martina Elorduy Masip is an art historian, researcher, and emerging curator whose practice navigates between theory and artistic production.

Situated in parallel between these two dimensions of the creative process, their work unfolds from an intimate and sensitive inquiry into identity, transformation, violence, and mourning—notions deeply intertwined with imagination and fragility, which they conceive as active sites of resilience and care.
In terms of form, their practice moves between curatorial experimentation, video, sound, and installation. Through these media, they build narratives that explore other possible spaces for collective and critical ways of thinking, feeling, and creating.

Since 2025, they have been involved in the research and curatorial team of Contour Biennale 11 (Mechelen, Belgium) and have contributed to curatorial and exhibition projects with institutions such as the multidisciplinary arts space Cordova and the Tarragona Museum of Modern Art.
