Valentine Haibette
Participant

Valentine Haibette is an artist and poet born in 1997 in the North of France. She studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, from which she graduated in 2023. Her work revolves around historical and poetic narratives that she revisits through rewriting and autofiction. She explores themes such as transformation and identity, embodied by Lucky-Ten, an avatar who occupies a central place in her work. Through an experimental approach combining narration and plastic installations, she creates universes where mythology, cosmogony and ecology meet. Valentine participates in initiatives such as the Station d’arts poétiques de Lyon, where she explores the intersections between writing and contemporary art. In 2024, she made an artistic residency at L’Attrape-Couleurs and the Friche Lamartine, deepening her research between performative poetry and visual art.
