BAR project presents Of Childhood Games by Letícia Costelha, the first artist selected for the OutResidence program, a collaboration between BAR project and the Galeria Municipal do Porto.
The exhibition reflects on what it means to feel like a child in adult life. Based on research into children’s games, playful impulses, and ways to reclaim that attitude in adulthood, Costelha highlights the act of playing as an essential gesture in our lives.
Through interviews and stories about childhood games and their social impact, the artist explores how these experiences resonate in adulthood. Inspired by the notion of playscape in central Barcelona, the exhibition transforms the gallery space into playful environments that invite visitors to rediscover play as a form of encounter, memory, and resistance.
The exhibition will remain open until October 16, 2025.
