BAR Project presents En tua vulnera absconde me, the first solo exhibition by Luca Calderó, an exploration of everyday, embodied, and dissident mysticism.
The exhibition proposes a space where the friction between the mystical and the political, between steel and flesh, opens a field of tensions and possibilities shaped by trust, vulnerability, and transformation. A swimming pool, a wound, a place in which to immerse the body and experience its weight through falling, floating, and drifting.
From this threshold emerge the works of En tua vulnera absconde me, bringing together installation, video, and writing through a combination of newly commissioned pieces and previously realized works to construct an expanded experience of the body and its exposure. Luca Calderó’s practice unfolds here as a territory where the sensory intertwines with the transcendent, overflowing the boundaries between thought, affect, and matter.
En tua vulnera absconde me is part of the Art Nou Festival programme, the emerging art festival of Barcelona and L’Hospitalet organized by ArtBarcelona.
